'SWAYAM', an initiative of the Government of India, aims at

1. SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active–Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is an initiative of the Government of India designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., access, equity and quality. 2. It is a platform that facilitates hosting of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) covering diverse subjects from school level (Class 9-12) to post-graduation. 3. The objective is to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantaged. All the courses are interactive, prepared by the best teachers in the country and are available free of cost to any learner. 4. Option (D) accurately captures this aim: 'providing affordable and quality education to the citizens for free' (affordable in the sense of being free, and quality through curated courses). 5. Option (A) relates to Self Help Groups. 6. Option (B) relates to support for entrepreneurs. 7. Option (C) relates to specific programs for adolescent girls.
